Sprained shoulder: Depends on the severity and what is injured. If only sprained options include rest, ice, nsaids, and eventual rehab exercises best guided by a therapist. Sometimes a cortisone injection can be helpful if inflammation is present. This can take several months to improve with conservative treatment. If the rotator cuff or labrum is torn, surgery is often needed to repair the tear.
