A member asked:

How long does it take for kidney infection to stop hurting?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It varies: If you have a bacterial urinary infection, and you are treated with an antibiotic for which the bacteria is sensitive, it usually resolves in 1-3 days. Drinks lot's of fluids as well. If the dysuria pain persists longer than that; recontact you local physician for further assessment of the problem.
