How do i toilet train children with dyspraxia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See below: I'm assuming a child with dyspraxia has problems with movement, coordination, judgment, processing, memory and some other cognitive skills. Readiness is important-soft stool and taking advantage of the gastrocolic reflex-urination and stooling after a meal can allow physical modeling of sitting on a potty and alllowing the body to relax and release. Do not force-set up a routine and relax.
