Enemas: A saline enema is just plain salt water. It is effective but does not contain a cathartic such as phospho soda. Basically, you are just flushing yourself out with liquid.

Yes: Mineral oil enema is more helpful if you are constipated for few days, it eases up passing the hard stools.
