Possible causes / risks for excessively long periods include but are not limited to: uterine fibroids, polyps, adenomyosis , endometrial cancer, type i diabetes mellitus, bleeding disorders (l.E., von willebrand dz), clotting problems, infection, ovarian cyst, endometriosis ; hashimoto thyroiditis.
