what are the uses for zinc and castor oil cream?

Protection: Zinc tends to kill things ergo zinc lozenges for sore throats that was so popular years ago. Zinc also blocks the harmful UV -A and B rays from the sun protectin your skin from potential cancer causing burns.
Caster oil is a preparation you swallow which is basically a laxative. The taste is horrendous but as a kid I swore it helped with constipation. It was thought the oil killed viruses, not so.

No: These are okay topical agents for  say scraping your knee at the park and there is no place to get real care.  Its nice to semi protect the wound and keep it sterile to some degree. However, If tissue gets infected a stronger antibiotic will be needed.

Accepted Answer

No: This will not be effective in treating the yeast infection. It is a great diaper cream for irritative diaper rash, but will not do anything for curing yeast. You need an anti-fungal treatment for a yeast infection. Call your doctor for a prescription for Nystatin or other appropriate treatment if you are sure the rash is yeast.

HUH????: There are many nice sun screens in the stores. Castor oil will not be useful. There are numerous sun screens [blocks] containing various types of zinc.

my baby had something like eczema/rash & reddish kinda blisters on her vagina so i stopped using bum cream & used zinc & castor oil so it went away now it's back again what could it be? i'm using fragranced j&j wipes could that be the reason?

Evaluation: Please see your pediatrician. She may have Strep or Staph infection of the skin and requires treatment. Discontinue wipes, oil and use a thin layer of an antibiotic cream three times daily, until evaluated.

USE AN OVER THE COUNTER TAR SHAMPOO DAILY!
THATS DAILY!
I KNOW THIS DIFFICULT FOR WOMEN, BUT IF YOU COULD DO THIS FOR TWO WEEKS YOU SHOULD SEE A REMARKABLE IMPROVEMENT.

No: Silicone gel application topically to scars is the only non-invasive treatment that has been proven to improve the appearance of scars. More invasive treatments involve dermarolling and laser treatments.

Can or should ?: You can try anything that suits you. However, I don't think either would help. Both are likely to further plug your pores and aggravate any existing problem.

Viral papules: Painless papillomatosis is viral in causation, but usually will not be "cured" by either "castor oil" or an "ordinary cream".  Ask your healthcare provider about using trichloroacetic acid (diluted) on affected areas.

Not sure how this: would work. Generally face/eyes are most sensitive. Everywhere can be sensitive. I'm not following where you would put them to be relevant. Everywhere ? How often reapply? Is it a theoretical or known sensitivity?
"doubtful" i think is the answer.
