i had varicocele surgery 3 years ago and now after 3 years my testicles are still big (if not bigger) what should i do? i know surgery may help but is there other things that can help?? maybe medicines or yoga ?? i really dont wanna have surgery?

: varicocele surgery was/is not done for 'big' testicles but for dilatation of the veins in the spermatic cord above the testicle if they cause pain/discomfort or infertility. Wear a good scrotal support and see a Urologist for proper evaluation. Chances are you will not need any surgery.

Varicocele: In general no, it is not feasible to remove the coil from a small vessel such as the spermatic vein.  I think the larger question is, why would you want to have it removed?

Abnormal development: of veins of spermatic cord is the cause of varicocele but very rarely due to  left kidney tumor blocking renal vein can cause it .

Not known : Mostly docs believe varicoceles start forming in puberty from faulty valves in the scrotal veins. The blood backs up and causes the veins to swell and become blocked. Nothing you did caused them.  Like varicose veins in your leg. See

Vericocele: The idiopathic varicocele occurs when the valves within the veins along the spermatic cord do not work properly. This is essentially the same process as varicose veins, which are common in the legs. This results in backflow of blood into the pampiniform plexus and causes increased pressures, which on rare occasion can lead to permanent damage to the testicular tissue due to disruption of normal supply of oxygenated blood via the testicular artery.

See a urologst: Varicoceles are very common in men. At your age, we almost never operate on them. We only operate if there is suspicion that this is the cause of pain in the testicle, or if you have abnormal sperm counts or quality and are having infertility problems.

Not easy: unfortunately this is a little difficult to do on yourself, if you do not know what to feel for. Even teaching young doctors and residents it can take a while to teach them how and what to feel for. Best to see your doctor who can perform a proper examination. The good news is most varicoceles are not a problem unless you have symptoms associated with it. Sorry this wasn't more helpful. Good luck

Usu in young men (15-30y)typically involves the left side but can be bilateral. Can present with pain or discovered during infertility work-up. While surgical repair often performed, embolization with interventional radiologist is safer, less invasive, and higher success rate (less recurrences).
