No: There is no way to selectively reduced fat in any region. You will tone muscles by exercising them so you can spot tone a certain region by exercising muscles in that area.

Muscles: This will strengthen the muscles in your face but do nothing about wrinkles. The muscles can help with the sagging appearance but the best anti aging there is is sunscreen!

Yes: the exercises can build the muscles and slim the face some  Yoga is good and other facial exercise  If you are not eating correcting it will make no difference  Doing the exercises is not the only variable in slimming the face

Many possibilities: More information is needed in order to better assess the condition. Is it coming from your neck? Is it associated with any neurological deficits? How long does it last?

Doubtful: Yoga works on strengthening your muscles and cardiovascular symptoms. Although you are 15 I see no reason why it should affect your growth and if this is true have your parents take you to your doctor for assessment.

Arterial compression: Most likely the compression of the arteries on the back of your head/ neck. That can happen also after aggressive massage of your neck or chiropractic manipulation

Costochondritis?: Rib bones don't come all the way to breast bone. Last few inches are more elastic cartilage so your chest can rise w/ breath & twist when you do. Where cartilage meets rib or breast bone, is a joint that gets inflamed & painful under right circumstances, like too much coughing, twisting, heavy lifting, etc. Can last up to 8 weeks, responds to ibuprofen. See md if worsening or persisting.

i started taking generic ritalin (methylphenidate). my head fels swollen. i can't do my yoga that puts my head below my waist. i take procera avh. is something wrong?

Stop the AVH: Try Ritalin (methylphenidate) without the avh. Acetyl-l-carnitine, vinpocetine and huperzine-a are active in the central nervous system. You may be having an interaction side effect of overstimulation. Find best dose of Ritalin (methylphenidate) first then consult doc about avh. I would advise against mixing "naturopathic" chemicals with prescription meds.

this morning i was doing yoga. while in the inverted position of downward dog i had an excruciating, stinging, burning pain in the left side of my head, followed by watery eyes. it was horrible and quite scary. what do you think caused it?

: Your neck (cervical spines) position during that Yoga posture acutely irritates one branch of the cranial nerve which innervates that area and then reflexive tearing occurs. You should avoid this position for several days then be careful when you want to practice that posture again. Good luck!
