Stool: I would see a doctor about that and have your stool examined to make certain you do not have a parasite or some type of infection or underlying bowel disorder.

Hemorrhoids : This can be one of the symptoms of hemorrhoids, what I suggest is going to a specialist, a coloproctologist in this case to get a physical examination and recieve the correct treatment

Get checked: This could be a serious problem and needs to be discussed with a physician in detail. Bowel obstruction, infection or inflammatory bowel disease are potential serious explanations. Visit the ER if you have associated abdominal pain, shaking chills or fever, or dizziness.  Get well!

29 yrs old, have yellow mucus in my stool every time, nausea, pain in my rectum every time i pass my bowels.i did a colonoscopy and haemmoroids were found in my rectum & also a few small erosions were found in the terminal ileum. what could it mean?

: Did the GI person explain the findings- specially of the Ileum and what to do for it?. If not pl call her/him to do so. It could be related to your diet too. In the meantime try to observe which foods aggravate your symptoms and eliminate them. Hope you feel better

Exam - Lab work: To know 'why?' you need to have an exam and lab work. It's possibly something a bit like IBS, but w/o other symptoms it would luckily be very mild/early. Intestines have glands that make mucus to avoid membrane irritation. See your Dr and follow advice.

YES: Mucous is the Bowel's way of "protecting" itself against irritants (that includes LAXATIVES... If you are using laxatives regularly (and I suspect you may be) STOP and see your Primary Care Provider for a GI evaluation!

Shades of color: Both yellow and green mucus indicate pus and break down of cells with possible bacterial growth indicating an infection. Smokers have chronic inflammation in their lungs and can have purulent mucus without an infection. Anyhow, you ned to have it checked.
