Do you mean: Do you mean that you have been having periods and this one is late or that you haven't started having periods at all. These are 2 very different questions. If this ia a late period, pregnancy is possible but if you are 17 and haven't started having periods at all that could be more serious and you need to be seen and checked out for the possible cause. Female or male?: If female - very light to white discharge might be related to leukorrhea.  Leukorrhea is normal vaginal discharge (d/c).  D/c is composed of cellular debris, vaginal secretions ; bacteria ; is stimulated by ^ vaginal blood flow ; ^ estrogen.  D/c ^ is seen w ovulation (clear/stretchy), clear/watery or white d/c both occur during menstrual cycle.; pregnancy (white/ milky). It can be thin or thick ;.

i had a hysterectomy about 13 years ago but have a nagging pasty  discharge its white or yellow depending on what color my underwear are that day. when it dries in my underwear it is crusty and flaky. it doesn't have must of an oder, nothing foul?

: Normal vaginal secretions or mucus are colorless &amp;odorless which sounds like your discharge as when dry it appears like egg whites.  Associated vaginal itching would suggest a yeast infection. If you note itching, ask your pharmacist for a nonprescription antiyeast vaginal cream to try. See a gynecologist as needed.

No: Get a pelvic evaluation at which time a pregnancy test will be done as well. Bear in mind that unprotected sex may result in pregnancy which at this time definitely needs to be done. You can then be treated if needed
