see below: Drainage of the abscess is the primary treatment.  Antibiotic treatment is secondary to treat the surrounding soft tissue infection.  This will usually start improving a few days after starting the antibiotic if the abscess has been adequately drained.

Infection can exist: In the absence of an overt abscess.  You probably need the antimicrobial.  Are you penicillin allergic? Is not, there are probably better drugs to use.

When will zit go?: Usually it takes around 4-6 weeks to see good response from therapy for acne.  The most important thing is using the products appropriately and if you are having troubles with then to call your dermatologist to see if there is a better way to take the meds or an alternative.  Stay out of the sun on  Minocycline or you will get burned!

Not relevant: You may take acidophilus, but it has not been shown to alter the course of MRSA.

Not curable: Acne isn't curable. Clindamycin should not be sole therapy, but used with topical benzoyl peroxide or something similar. It's a way of managing moderate acne. If you're not clear on it in two weeks, get with your physician -- you'll need stronger Rx.

Better hold: either atarax (hydroxyzine) or norco, as both together can interact causing CNS depression and psychomotor impairment even if spaced out

Yes: Cleocin (clindamycin phosphate) or Clindamycin is a good  antibiotic for dental infections, a strong killer of bacteria. It will have no direct effect on your gerd. It has no drug interactions. However, you can have some abdominal discomfort and even vomiting reaction to antibiotics.  Get the infection under control, then have tooth treated promptly. Drink full glass of water when taking medication.
