Keep clean: After the blood clot forms and is stable - usually 3-5 days, you may rinse carefully with salt water and diluted mouthwash. Also, keep the teeth and tongue clean. This will help freshen things up for you. It shall pass, hang in there.

Augmentin or BV?: Amoxicillin, the main ingredient in Augmentin, has a strong odor that is easily detected in the urine. Maybe it could appear in genital fluids. On the other hand, the main cause of vaginal odor after sex is bacterial vaginosis, overgrowth of vaginal bacteria. BV odor usually is described as fishy.
