If your concern has to do with touching the outside surfaces of the labia majora/or labia minora, they are outside. Touching only those surfaces would not involve the hymen, though you could slip &amp; enter/tear the hymen.

Variable anatomy: Hymen would not break by rubbing the thighs. However, as with any other organ there are variations in the size and shape of the hymen. A hymen with a large opening may be just normal for that woman and does not mean she had sex or something inserted in her vagina.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

As always, only in cases of alleged sexual assault upon girls and women do we physicians engage in the careful examination of hymens, collecting evidence of physical damage to be used later in courts of law. In normal everyday life, people should not be "checking hymens" nor thinking about whether they are broken or not broken.
