Ehlers Danlos wrinkl: Those with ehlers danlos lack the appropriate machinery in the skin to produce connective tissue which will result in loose skin which resembles the skin appearance of aging because of wrinkling.

Potentially: There certainly is a variation in what is considered normal for skin elasticity.  Don't hesitate to be seen if there is a question.  A biopsy can usually be pretty definitive if there'd is any question about the diagnosis.

It might seem the two would cancel each other (EDS involves less effective collagen and stretchy skin, SD involves XS collagen deposition) but unfortunately it seems to be somewhat additive. Suggest you check our

: Ehlers Danlos Syndrome has many unusual internal problems, but is unlikely to prevent pregnancy.  It would be well to have genetic counseling however, prior to conception.

Increase fluids: Increase fluid intake, likely just dehydrated.  At least double your usual intake of water.

: I wouldn't attribute your thought obsessions' to EDS. This is a connective tissue disorder where some of the underlying tissues are not bound as strongly to other layers. There is a tendency toward looser skin, but the syndrome does not affect how your brain works.

ive been using band aid adhesive tape. it has left red irritation where they were. its been there for few days now. is there anything i could put on it ? i have thin elastic skin from ehlers-danlos syndrome. i always have trouble with adhesives?

Caution: You might try a very thin layer of over the counter 1/2 % hydrocortizone cream twice a day. It is good for such irritation but overuse can thin the skin some.

No: Ehler-danlos is a genetic condition. You cannot acquire it.

See your doctor : The grinding is generally a sign of digerati on in the facets, or neck joints. As an ED person, your ligaments which hold the bones in place are most likely lax, allowing excess movement. While,this could. Rear a chairing type malformation, I think arthritis is a more common answer. An X Ray will be telling
