Stop the hysteria: Listeria can actually be normal flora. Millions of people ate cheese that had been sitting out on the same day that you did. Listeria usually results from a problem at the manufacturer's end in which the little tumblers overgrew. Settle down and stop reading internet scare stuff.

You are ok: As long as the milk is pasteurized (milk you buy from the store usually is) you should be fine!

If it doesn't look right, don't eat it: Often times canned vegetable soups and canned vegetables are in containers that are laced with BPA. This keeps it from sticking to the container. So if you're pregnant, you may just opt to avoid eating canned soups, unless you are aware of their canning policy the vegetables are organic. This is especially true for root vegetables like carrots, potatoes, and radishes. You want to make sure they are organic.

Doubt it: Listeria is relatively rare.  A healthy 23 year old with no major medical problems is not a high risk of getting a listeria infection.  People with immunocompromised conditions such as HIV and on immunosuppressives are higher risk.  Cheddar cheese left out for a few hours shouldn't be a problem.  If you are concerned, speak to your obstetrician about it but it honestly doesn't sound too concerning

Listeria: The incubation period for Listeria gastroenteritis is substantially shorter than other gastrointestinal illnesses, mean incubation period is 24 hours (range 6 hours to 10 days). Common symptoms include fever, watery diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, headache, and pains in joints and muscles. You should see you doctor if you have above symptoms and have blood and stool cultures performed

: Yes, the symptoms are most likely present if you are infected with Listeria. If you do not have any symptom at all, your baby is safe, do not worry too much.
