Unlikely: Any of the penicillin derived drugs are considered poor treatments for this contageous disease. Since it can cause permanent sterility and pelvic inflammatory disease in females it is not something to use a marginal or poor drug. If you think you have gonorrhea, chlamydia, or any STD, see a doctor or clinic for diagnostic testing and proper treatment. Also make sure your sex partner(s) get examined and treated.
