Penlac is a prescription and if you read the literature has a very low success rate.

Tea Tree Fungus: This is commonly used as a natural remedies for toenail fungus but my experience is that it is not very effective in moderate or severe cases. It may be slightly effective if there is only a small amount of fungus present. Keeping the nail trimmed short and filed thin may help at work slightly better.

Not really: Routine foot fungus is limited to the outside surface of the body and will generally never trigger an internal response.However, if the problem is bad enough to turn into a deep skin infection/cellulitis, then an elevation in the white cell  count would be expected.

It happends: There are often over the counter anti-fungal agents you can spray on or apply as a cream when this occurs. They work on skin surfaces but seldom work on the toenails. Clotrimazole is one available here.
