Fast transit time: can do this ( IBD, celiac, food allergies ). A fast transit time (shorter than 10 hours) means food is passing through your system too quickly. Not enough time the bacterias in the large bowel to breakdown the bile and change the color from green to brown. The ideal bowel transit time is anywhere from 12 to 24 hours.  Also some green color vegetables , iron pills , color in the foods can do this.

Bile: You may have not eaten anything green, but your body makes a green liquid called bile to digest your food. Sometimes if you haven't completely digested it, your stool will appear green. This color is normal along with yellow and brown.

Green Stool: It could be something else your are eating or a new medication or supplement you are taking. Additionally, bile can cause greenish bowel movements and if you have "rapid transit" of your bowels, for some reason, this could be the cause. It is usually not serious and goes away. If it lasts for another week or so, you may want to have it checked out.

Changed stool color: The color of stool varies with foods, speed of emptying of the GI tract, medications & supplements ingested, gut flora (unique for each individual), additives (like blood), subtractions (like absent bile), infection, inflammation, & other factors. Consider what you ate in the last few days, but if greenish color is unusual for you & persists or is accompanied by other symptoms, see your doctor.

No worries...: Green stools do not symptoms of any known GI tract pathology.  Abdominal bloating is an extremely common symptom caused by a variety of factors.  I'd suggest:  taking a probiotic supplement along with a diet that is low in sugar and fat i.e. No fast food, fried food or highly processed foods.  No alcohol an get plenty of exercise and sleep.  If symptoms persist see a gastroenterologist.  Good luck.

Gastroenteritis: If this keeps up much longer suggest you see a doctor and let them deduce the cause of this, particularly if you are having any other associated symptoms.
