Spasm of stom wall: Firmness, spasm, pain of any part of the gut/ gastrointestinal tract is caused  by the muscular part of the gut going into spasm, either due to irritation from some food, too much acid, or obstruction of normal movement  (peristalsis).  If persists more than few days, or fever, vomiting, doubled over in pain occurs, see physician.  May try stopping alcohol, caffeine, hot spicy foods, tomatoes 1st.

Diff possibilities : A swelling of top of the stomach may be due to stomach ulcer, severe reflux, pancreatitis, colitis, or gall bladder disease. If not promptly better with otc omeprazole, would see a doc to sort it out.

Constipation: Hard stools are due to needing more water and fiber in your diet. They could be due to hypothyroidism but that is usually not found.
Change your diet to add items like oatmeal, salads, 8 glasses of water, fruits and vegetables. Yuck
If you want to fix it easy- go to the pharmacy and ask them for an OTC laxative. Many different types. They are available to try. Follow label directions.
