Wiping away pain: The vulvar tissues are sensitive to "rough handling" even when healthy. If there is an infection or other problem present it will feel like you are wiping with "sandpaper". A good exam by a OB GYN MD will make sure there aren't any lesions or infection. Sometimes, dabbing gently with  moist toilet paper or using "baby" wipes works to relieve discomfort if wiping from front to back at all times.

Check with GYN: There is no way to tell from the description of the lesion especially when it is both itchy and painful.  If this has not gone away by now or been getting worse, best to consult your GYN

Vagina: Please have your boyfriend stop intercourse for a few days.
If things change in your favor keep up your intercourse a few days apart.

Irritation: It sounds like the skin around your vaginal area is irritated.  I can't be sure without an exam, of course.  You can try spraying the area with water and gentle patting (instead of wiping), if you need to clean it.  Sitz bath may help to soothe.  Take a look and see if it's red, scraped, etc?  If there is discharge, itching and additional comfort, you should see your doctor.

Many causes...: Causes of these symptoms include a yeast infection,  Herpes, allergic reaction, tissue trauma from sexual intercourse, etc.  You can get fissures in this area that are a lot like paper cuts.  You would need an exam to know for sure.   Best wishes!

Vaginal bumps: Bumps between your vagina and anus could be many things ranging from hemorrhoids to viruses such as hpv you should have a physical exam performed by your physician.

Sounds like yeast: This may be vulvovaginitis due to candida, but without examining you and seeing the discharge impossible to tell.  See a gynecologist and get diagnosed and treated appropriately.
