whenever i put a tampon in or start to have vaginal inter course, my vaginq starts burning and is extremely painful, i don't know why it is doing this?

Vaginal pain: Inflammation of your vagina (Vaginitis) can cause pain and or discomfort with tampons and intercourse.  There are other conditions that can cause these similar issues, so it best to see your GYN dr. to get an evaluation and get diagnosed as to why your vagina is having these symptoms.  Best wishes.

this morning i got up and i had a brown looking discharged and i'm suppose to be on my period soon but i don't know what that discharge means and it kinda burns when i put a tampon in .. what does that mean?!?!

Some thoughts...: Many women have vaginal discharge, but some types of discharge are not normal. A woman may see normal changes in discharge before or after her period. Changes in discharge that may be an infection: a bad odor; vaginal itching or swelling; a green, yellow, or gray colored discharge; discharge looking foamy or like cottage cheese, etc. A doctor can check, if symptoms persist, recur or are worrisome.

Cut vs infection: It could be a number of things and without a physical exam, it would be hard to determine what is going on. I suggest you see a physician for an exam.  I recommend no tampons until you see the doctor.

Tampon irritation: Either there is an existing vaginal infection stirred up by the tampon or the insertion or something in the tampon is causing irritation or allergic reaction.

Could be: A skin irritation, infection, herpes.....So see your doctor for an evaluation.

Infection: First thing to rule out would be infection such as yeast, gonorrhea and chlamydia. You will need to see doc for that though.

: Talk to your primary care Dr. A visual inspection and examination may shed light on what the problem is. Many times, young teens have difficulties in using tampons because the vaginal tract is narrow.
