Palm & sole pain: These are very unusual symptorms and may represent a drug reaction or allergic response. Other rare forms are neuropathy. If you have excluded diabetes, I have heard that lyme disease may be another possibilty that may require evaluation. An EMG may provide some information. Vascular/autoimmune causes will need to be examined.

Neuropathy?: Talk to your doctor to see if this might indicate neuropathy.  Neuropathy can be associated with medical conditions such as diabetes, inflammatory arthritis,  thyroid issues, chemical exposure (including chemotherapy), alcoholism among other things.  See a doctor for a proper workup.

There are lots of: Potential causes. On thought that comes to mind is to make sure you don't have diabetes. People with diabetes can have what is called neuropathy from deposition of the sugar onto the nerves and its resultant damage. Best to get a full physical exam and routine labs with your internist. Hands that hurt: There are many possible reasons why your hand hurt particularly if you have had trauma in the area. If it is red or a rash then it could be hand dermatitis , psoriasi or eczema. You should see a different  specialist depending on the history.

Neuropathy: Obviously, she should try to control her blood sugar as closely as possible. Diabetic neuropathy is generally treated with medications such as Gabapentin or pregabalin, sometimes combined with narcotic pain meds. Have her discuss these with her pcp, endocrinologist or podiatrist.

Neuropathy: Most pain in foo with diabetics is due to diabetic neuropathy .  Certain medications may help reduce the pain. See a podiatrist for help.
