i have stiffness in my fingers and sometimes when i sleep and wake up my fingers are asleep. what supplement can i use to prevent this?

Poss carpal tunnel.: Numbness in fingers in AM is suggestive of carpal tunnel syndrome where there is compression of the nerves at the wrist.  Try wearing a wrist brace at night that keeps the hand extended. Also, there are exercises for carpal tunnel that stretch the nerve and tendons.

Arthritis: Hand and finger stiffness is commonly associated with arthritis.  Rheumatoid arthritis can make people more prone to nerve entrapments.  Peripheral neuropathy is also something to consider.  You should be evaluated by a neurologist and may also need to see a rheumatologist.

why the top of my fingers get sleep only on my right hand?

Carpal Tunnel?: I assume that you mean the tips of your fingers go to sleep.  The median nerve controls the feeling to the thumb, index, middle, and half of ring finger.  Pressure on this nerve at the wrist can cause numbness and tingling in these fingers, especially at night or upon awakening in the morning.  This can occur whle driving as well.  Try a wrist splint and see if this helps, if not get it checked.

Unlikely: It is unlikely that the fan itself will cause problems.  However, if it is on high and you get cold, you could, in theory not sleep as well.

Slowly and easy: At your age, there has probably been significant healing but it is still not complete. Do not overly stress the fracture site. Start out with a soft stress ball and squeeze it 10 or 20 times. If it hurts, don't do it! if the fracture involved a joint then there may be permanent stiffness. Warming your hand can reduce stiffness early on and help movements. After a few weeks try a hand exerciser.

Muscle shortening: When you sleep on one side or the other, you bend your spine to a contour that it may not be used to. This leads to muscles on each side lengthening or shortening, leading to either shorter, tighter muscles on one side or possibly fatigued muscles more likely to spasm on the other side. This occurs from major stabilizers of your spine down to the very smallest muscles connecting your vertebrae.

Sleep position : The symptoms may be related to your neck &amp; back position during sleep which could be causing some compression of a neck nerve. If the symptoms always resolve when you get up that is less worrisome than if they persist.  A pillow that keeps your neck curved @ night may help, plus stretching exercises for the neck.
