There no cure for HSV infection and often stress is an aggravating factor. Cold sores generally clear up without treatment within 10-14 days. It is your call.

Inner lip bumps: They can be a combination of minor salivary glands and Fordyce spots which are small sebaceous glands. To know for sure, you will have to show them to a dentist.
