Ideas: There are OTC products like one called Emetrol, which is a fancy mix of sugars. Sometimes just pouring a bit of fizzed out soda over ice chips or sipping on a sugary water will help settle your stomach. Good luck.

Sick stomach: Could be due to different reasons: stomach flu, too much acid, among others. Any fever or other symptoms? Any change in diet, medications or supplements? Think about what's different since your nausea started. See your doc so you can sort this out together and come up with a good plan. Hope you're feeling better soon.

It's possible.: If you are having nausea and have had intercourse, particularly if you have missed a period, it is certainly possible that you're pregnant. If these conditions exist, then I would recommend a pregnancy test.

Talk to OB about rx: There are several excellent anti-nausea medications that are safe to take in pregnancy. You do not need to suffer like that, but you do need to get the prescription from your OB. Call tomorrow before the long holiday weekend so you can enjoy the 4th (and the freedom from nausea!!)

Seems fine: The amount of recommended weight gain during pregnancy is dependent on your pre-pregnancy weight and body mass index, but is generally in the 25 to 35 pound range. As long as you are gaining weight at an appropriate rate as determined by your ob, the potato chips that soothe your nausea should be absolutely fine and in fact i would encourage them if they allow you to eat an otherwise balanced diet.

Nausea in pregnancy: Nausea in pregnancy at 20 weeks is unusual. See your OB, as this may require additional treatment, especially since nutritional needs may not be met while constantly nauseated. Occasionally, OB patients need hospital care for prolonged nausea in pregnancy.
