Not the best idea.: The problem with this has to do with the concentration of salt in the water.  Too much salt could cause burning.  It is however a good idea to pour warm water over the vaginal area while you urinate.  It also sounds like you have a vaginal infection which could be either yeast or bacterial based on your description.

If you have a change in color, texture, odor or amount of vaginal discharge ; problems such as pain, itching burning with urination or sex or redness/swelling  then it is best to see your gynecologist for evaluation ; accurate assessment.

Yeast infections may be treated with OTC meds such as:  Clotrimazole, Miconazole, Butoconazole &amp; Tioconazole.
