Cyst, ?infected: could be pilar cyst or routine sebaceous cyst...would see dermatologist, esp if grows in size and is more painful.

C/w scar tissue or: possibly a persistent sebaceous cyst with significant scar tissue around it which your efforts are not emptying, just adding to trauma &amp; more scar tissue. Best leave alone in hopes scar tissue will decrease some over time or have excised by someone with good plastic surgery seamstress skills to reclose with minimal new scar tissue induction.

i have pus filled bumps on my scalp.  its always itchy. theres also clusters of small bumps in the nape area. ive been put on fungal medicine , an antibiotic and i've been prescribed a cream. nothing is working what could this be?

Time for examination: This certainly sounds like a bacterial infection: either impetigo or infected folliculitis. In either case, the lesions must be cultured and you will need oral and topical antibiotics.

Could be: Something called folliculitis, which is inflammation and infection of the hair follicles.  The best thing to do is to show your doctor when you get one so that you know how to prevent this in the future.
