White pimples: Hello, the white pimples n the back of your throat sound like tonsilliths. These are food particles that get stuck in the tonsil tissues. They harden and make your tonsils look like they are infected. Under these tonsil pimples is a cavity or crevice that may be inflamed and infected. Gargle with water after every meal. This helps to clear these white pimples. Also see your doctor.

Doctor can look: Throat symptoms can be from a strep throat infection (antibiotics are needed), a cold or influenza (antibiotics usually not used), or from some other cause such as allergies or irritants. Usually, a person sees the doctor if throat symptoms are bothersome, recurrent or don't go away quickly (mainly to check for strep throat). Throat lozenges and Tylenol (acetaminophen) can lessen pain temporarily.
