Vaginal Discharge: Certainly sounds like it could be one.  However, if it is not typical for what you have had in the past you should be examined and treated for the appropriate reason for the discharge.

When uncertain get: medically checked. Yeast can present with clumpy, white vaginal discharge to a watery, white discharge. Sometimes a discharge is not apparent. There is no odor. It can cause swelling and redness of vulva along with itching and burning pain. It may lead to pain with urination or intercourse.

Vaginosis: Most consistent with bacterial vaginosis.  It requires Flagyl 7 days.  See you doctor for treatment.

UTI: If symptoms of urinary tract infection persist after a few days of treatment ,return to the prescriber for another culture and exam.  Infection may not have cleared.

Infection, PID?: Colored vaginal discharge usually means infection. This sounds like pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), perhaps due to the IUD -- not common but it happens. Also get retested for gonorrhea and chlamydia (the tests miss some infections) and DNA test for trichomonas (other tests miss many trich infections). Consider requesting referral to a gyn who subspecializes in infections. Do it all ASAP.

In the clinic, etc. Diagnosis is done with a scraping or swab of the area placed on a microscope slide, which is treated with KOH dissolving the cells and leaving the candida yeast cells.
