Infection: I assume you are referring to vaginal discharge which suggests yeast infection. If you have urinary discharge then you could have STD, i.e. chlamydia and/or gonorrhea. You should go to your primary care doctor and get examined for vaginal infection or urinary infection and get tested for yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, and/or chlamydia/gonorrhea. Diflucan (fluconazole) treats yeast infection.

Possibly leukorrhea.: There is a normal vaginal discharge called leukorrhea which varies in amount , consistency & color. Can be clear to white.  Can be fluid-like to sticky. No odor, no redness, no burning, no itching, no pain. If you have a new rash or it is symptomatic - please have it checked by your gynecologist.

Related to period?: Brownish color is usually due to altered blood. Many things can cause slight bleeding, e.g., around ovulation, sex, cervical erosion, and if you are near your period, either before or after.
