Need to be checked: This could be hereditary or could be a sign of another disorder. It can be due to excess hormones called androgens. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a common cause of this in women vs less common causes such as cushings syndrome.  You should have your hormone levels checked.

In a teen girl whose weight should be about 120, but has been carrying an extra 130 pounds on her spine, this can be bad.

: No, this is impossible. There is no such thing as having HIV more than a few weeks and not having a positive AgAb (4th generation) blood test. Also, HIV symptoms can never occur in absence of HIV antibody. Something other than HIV is the cause of your gf's symptoms. She should consider consultation with an infectious diseases specialist.
