Go to ER: If not caused by trauma, it could be allergic reaction, insect bite, but eye swelling could be very problematic. Go to a hospital emergency room.

Use a warm soak: You likely have a stye or chalazion.  Use a warm wet wash clothe on it three to four times daily.  If it does not get better in a few days, see an ophthalmologist.

Ophthalmologist: input in s needed, sounds like an infection of conjunctivae, (conjunctivitis) the thin transparent lining of the inner part if the lids and the eye globes, you may need prescription medications, best wishes

when i have to stop montelukast to my daughter , she developed swelling of face and eye burning ?

Allergies: She must have allergies!  Over a 30 day period montelukast (singulair) inhibits "leukotrienes" which are chemicals active in the allergic process.   As you stop taking the meds, it sounds like her allergies flared.  Now I wouldn't say going off the med for one day would be a reason for them to flare.  But if you missed it for a week and her allergies flared, that would make sense.

i have a swelling under my left eye on the cheekbone,  i had teeth xrays and i have an enclosed wisdom tooth in upper left. i took 5dayw amoxil and today mesulid and still a bit swelling not pain. what can i do? when it will pass and stop swelling?

Impacted Tooth: If you have an impacted wisdom tooth that is causing your issues, it may need to be extracted to resolve your problems.

Yes: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) and Amoxil are closely related and I would advise stopping the medication. Please give your child an anti histamine as directed for age/dose, and see your pediatrician.

Stop now: The allergic reaction to Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is almost surely from the amoxicillin portion of this drug and thus substituting amoxicillin will not stop the allergic reaction.  You need to stop this drug immediately and do not give him any more penicillin or amoxicillin without an OK by an allergist. Many cases of ear infection do not require an antibiotic.

can dry patches on cornea cause swelling on the optic disc and or could being on computer too much cause either problems please help?

No: Swelling of the optic disk is a serious sign that requires a prompt medical evaluation.  Dry patches on the cornea are common and are treated with artificial tears.  Using the computer can exacerbate dry eye but has no relationship to the optic disk swelling.
