Several: There are several reasons for not having a period after taking progesterone.  The most common are pregnancy or menopause.  More rare is a blockage of the cervix or some other anatomical abnormality.

Soon: Usually the period will come 2 or 3 days after the medication is stopped, so give it a little more time.  Sometimes it will not bring a period, but take it a step at a time.

Clarify with doctor: Clarify the doctor who prescribed the medication how you are supposed to be taking it. Progesterone is sometimes used to regulate cycles but one would not expect a cycle until you stop taking it.

Progesterone: Progesterone does not always work to trigger a period in all patients. It is not clear why you are taking this medication. If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available  at any pharmacy. Follow up with the prescribing doctor to discuss why you were given this and what other options may be available to meet your goals.

: Conception may occur but you should wait for a couple more days. If 5 days has passed after the expected period but nothing happens then you can do an early morning urine pregnancy test.

Timing is everything: it can start in 14 days but sometimes longer, you should talk to your prescriber.

Duphaston: If withdrawal bleeding took place on day four of Duphaston, there is no need to continue if the reason you were prescribed Duphaston was that your period was delayed.  This is an "artificial" period, and if fertility or other menstrual issues continue, see your ob/gyn provider for an exam and other testing.

DUPHASTON: Duphaston is a progestin used, among other things, to prevent threatened spontaneous abortion.  If you are having a FULL and expected period, Duphaston is not indicated, but this question should be asked of the prescribing doctor.

Check with Ob-Gyn: It's hard to guess timing of menstrual bleeding if medications are taken to affect the timing. Young women can take a home pregnancy test to check for pregnancy, if missing a period or two. Dydrogesterone (duphaston) prevents the heavy bleeding from dysfunctional uterine bleeding and irregular cycles. One can check with her Dr to see how likely or unlikely it is that menses will be delayed.
