Wait till tomorrow: You might get period or not get it. You will see. If you are several days late, get pregnancy test.

Possibly: This might be the start of your period. It is possible that you could be pregnant and spotting a bit. If you do not get a normal period, i would suggest a pregnancy test. Also continue your prenatal vitamins!

Give it time: There could be several reasons for a missed period.  If you are trying to get pregnant, the most likely explanation is that you are, and if you wait a few more days, your HCG levels will rise enough to be detectable on the test and it will be positive.  Stress and weight loss can also cause some irregularity in periods.   I recommend you re-test in 1 week and will hopefully get some good news.

Old blood: this is old vaginal and cervical blood mixed with mucous. You can clean yourself out with a warm water douch or water.bicarbonate (sodium bicarbonate) douche.

Pregnancy: If you are healthy and have sex without optimal protection you are always at risk of becoming pregnant.  Why wonder?  Do a pregnancy test.  They are very sensitive and turn positive extremely early in pregnancy but not reliably until 2-3 weeks after sex. If you still wonder, repeat in one-two weeks later and your answer will be as sure as is possible without going to see MD.

Pregnancy test: Please start by taking a pregnancy test if you're sexually active. If not, there are many reasons why you may have skipped a period and your doctor can order the appropriate blood work needed to rule out any hormonal abnormalities.

Spotting: Sounds like low Progesterone spotting before your period. Keep a menstrual diary and see if it gets normal next cycle.  If it persists, you may need a Progesterone boost. Other things cause spotting like polyps, fibroids and infections. And always consider pregnancy if it's a possibility.

When did you take it: When relative to your cycle and sex did you take the pill? If you took it at mid cycle, after sex, your cycle may be routine, or it could be disrupted.  If you took it more than 5 days after unprotected sex, it may not be effective, and you be pregnant and get implantation bleeding. So wait to see how your period goes.  If you miss check a home pregnancy test.
