3 ys ago psychiatrist prescribed me sertraline,valproate sodium, olanzapine,lithium. it gave me very bad left hand tremor. does biperiden cure me? should biperden be used for life? or will i need to use it only for a limited time to be totally cured?

All can cause Tremor: These are all very powerful drugs, including Biperiden, and they can all cause a tremor. First, carefully review each drug and be sure that the pharmacy gave you the right drug and the right strength. Then be sure you are taking each drug at the right time and the right dose. This a difficult issue to resolve and you should work it out carefully with your prescribing MD.

Talk to your doctor: First, it is not a good idea to flush meds down the toilet due to filtration and sanitation concerns. It is best to have your physician's office, pharmacy or the police station dispose of them properly. As far as discontinuing zoloft (sertraline) on your own, i would strongly recommend that you speak with your doctor about your concerns with yhe med.

Forgetting Zoloft (sertraline): For one thing, your symptoms could relapse -- or at least you won't be getting the full benefit. is it possible to only need 25 mg dosage of zoloft (sertraline).  taking it for 7 days, feeling better. do i need to increase to prescribed 50 mg?

Zoloft (sertraline): Not knowing your age, weight, other meds and health status, it is hard to say.  This medication takes up to 4 weeks to get to steady state.  Since you have such early positive effects, it would not be a bad idea to talk to your doctor about staying for another week at 25mg.  How you are feeling in an important indicator to the meds effectiveness.

Zoloft (sertraline): If you feel better on 25 mg of zoloft (sertraline) it is perfeclty fine to stay on that dose.  Please notify your doctor of this medication change should you choose to continue at this dose.

Drug interaction: Valium and zoloft (sertraline) can be safely taken together.  This should have been told to you by prescribers unless they were different prescribers.  You should keep all your docs informed of all your meds prescribed by others, and don't take other peoples meds.
