Thighs: may be rubbing together and are more vulnerable with salt water and prolonged emersion.

experiencing  skin rash (quality: itchiness) on my stomach, chest, back, and my forearms have an odd patch of bumps like a rash. there are some round red circles that have a little dry look. i don't have this on my legs just upper body?

Rash: This will need to be visualized and history needs to be taken to assess this. Verbal descriptions just don't do the trick.

Accepted Answer

A week: It can take several days to a week for a mild skin rash to heal. If you have an extensive area of involvement or a more serious rash it could be a bit longer. Moisturizing lotions and keeping the area cool and free of friction ot rubbing may help.

: I think you may be dealing with a type of urticaria ( hives) and your skin is in a state of heightened reactivity where scratching releases histamine. If this is it, the cause of this is rather elusive. It may be an allergy to something internal or external. I recommend consulting a dermatologist or an allergist for diagnosis &amp; treatment. In the meantime have you tried taking antihistamines?

i had a skin bumpy rough patch on chest, stomach, inner navel as well as athlete's foot. i took oral difluzole (fluconazole150mg) once weekly for 8 wks. rash is gone but feet still itch a little and cracked. can i take another pill? stronger alternat?

: I would use foot cream for it rather than pill. May want to wear open toed sandles as these bugger like hot sweaty, steamy places to grow.

Itch: Several reasons for causing it. Mechanism  stays the same. Mast cells are specialized histamine containing cells in skin which get triggered by some stimulus- ie food product, detergent, cream, or even emotions like anxiety, chronic diseases esp liver and kidney diseases, certain cancers and graft vs host disease could also be trigger. Need work up and Cromolyn Sodium is mast cell stabilizer helps.

Spreading rash: A physician or dermatologist will need to examine you in order to make a diagnosis. Although you don't mention associated symptoms like fever, aches, malaise or itching,  possibilities include a viral illness like pityriasis rosea, chicken pox,etc or an allergic reaction. Get examined as soon as possible.
