Vaginal washes: Vaginal washing, also called douching, is not needed for personal hygiene and can cause problems like introducing bacteria and increasing the risk of bacterial vaginosis.  It cannot prevent pregnancy or treat a sexually transmitted disease.    Normal vaginal secretions are white or pale yellow.  Everyday bathing or showering with soap and water should be adequate to keep these odor free.

Read on for tips: Ok. proper vajay hygeine 101. keep it clean. don't use harsh soaps oftn and NOT inside. you don't need to douche at all. but some ppl like to to wash it out, especially after the period. then use clean water w a tbsp of vinegar in it, or one of the ones you buy. Don't ever use a douche more often than1-2a week. If you wear tight clothes, jeans, thongs, leggings, go LOOSe clothes at night or cmdo.
