See a Doc for exam: Abdominal pain is always a reason to see a Doctor. Why? One possibility is  Appendicitis is a life-threatening condition which presents with abdominal pain. If it is not surgically corrected the appendix can rupture and the results are lethal. Please get this examined soon to be safe.

Ovarian cyst rupture: If able to walk without being dizzy, and normal appetite,  
can be ok. Endometriosis, is also a possible, as well.
 I would let your doc know, as well.

No: That would be like saying that pimples cause acne.  Complex ovarian cysts may be one of several manifestations of polycystic ovarian syndrome (pco).  Others can include few (or no) periods, hair growth on the face/body, weight gain, dark patches on the neck and underarms, and higher blood sugars.
