Perfectly safe: Hi. While no study has ever looked at the safety/efficacy of melatonin and chlorpheniramine (the sedating antihistamine in Nyquil), what we know about their pharmacology suggests they should be perfectly safe in combination. Insomnia is awful and affects so many people! I wish you good sleep!

i took nyquil 5 hours ago and just took a tbs of robitissin non drowsy are they ok to mix?

Which nyquil?: If it is the one for cough , it contains dextromethotphan, a cough suppressant, which is the same ingredient in Robitussin, (guaifenesin) fine to take one after the other 6 hours apart, but not together, read the labels and instructions carefully, all the best

i took nyquil gel caps that expired a year ago. i did not realize this until after i had taken them. will i be okay? i took two pills.  i feel drowsy, but i'm sure this is to be expected.

Expired : Expired nyquil will most likely not hurt you - it will just not work as well as it should.  Drowsiness is the most common side effect of nyquil.  In the future, make sure you go through your medicine cabinet periodically and throw out any old, expired medications.

Possible: Although most people would not get noticeable drowsiness from 100 mg, the tolerance varies greatly among people.  Nyquil will add to the drowsiness.  Believe it is best for you to wait till the weekend to try the combination .

Toxicity: It is the amount of Acetaminophen in the  nyquil that can seriously harm you. It can cause your liver to shut down and potentially kill you. 
Get evaluated asap, call your doc or go to the er.

Depends on amount.: If you took more than prescribed, please call poison control and find out if what you took is a problem.  If you took more because you wished to hurt yourself, please call 911. Either way, talk to your parent or guardian so they can help. No decent person wants anything bad to happen to you!  Please call!
