Many possibilities: Rashes can be hard to figure out without looking at them. A rash can happen sometimes if a person's body is reacting to a germ causing viral or bacterial symptoms. Allergy to any of a variety of substances can create rashes. Little blisters can be viral, bacterial, or contact dermatitis. A tender rash of tiny blisters or bumps in one section of an adult's body may be SHINGLES. Doctor can check.

Stasis Dermatitis: This sounds like stasis dermatitis.  This is a condition that is caused by compromised venous circulation.  The veins in the legs loose their sturdiness as we age, decreasing the ability of those veins to return blood back up the legs to the heart for recirculation.  This causes pooling of blood in the veins of the legs, swelling feet/ankles, and skin irritation (bright red rash).  Get it checked.

Red Circle: You either have nummular eczema which is nothing more than dry skin or the beginning of a fungal infection. See your dermatologist for a diagnosis.

Possible abscess: A red, tender mass suggest a possible abscess.  You should have this evaluated by a physician to establish a diagnosis, and to determine whether drainage is necessary.

May be lichens: planus or hairy leukoplakia associated with a viral infection.  Or you may have recurrent aphthous ulcers that require some Nystatin since many ulcers are related to Candida (yeast) infection.  Or herpes ulcers requiring some acyclovir. what causes fully circular shaped rashes? these disk-shaped rashes are at least 2 inch or larger around. i have 8 of these perfectly circle-shaped rashes on my mid thighs only nowhere near my junk and nowhere near my knees. gets itchier if i'm hot?
