every time i eat/sometimes when i drink, i burp quite loudly. time  between consuming/burping has decreased to just a few minutes. is this indegestion?

Yes: Try changing diet and use over the counter gax products ( simethicone ) or Beano

Probably not: More probable you eat too fast and swallow air. My grandson does that just to make loud annoying burps but other kids think it is funny.

Sounds like: you are swallowing AIR when you eat. Try eating more slowly. Do not mix fluids and solid food during the meal.  Obviously avoid carbonated beverages.

Early satiety: You may condition known as gastroparesis. Stomach does not empty normally for various reasons  such as diabetes, medications, unknown cause(idiopathic). Test can be ordered by your md called gastric emptying study to determine if this is the problem.  In the mean time, you can look online  for gastroparesis diet recommendations

Possibilities...: There is an association between asthma and GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease). You may need treatment for GERD since GERD can cause bronchospasm. So, see your doctor so that the GERD can be treated, which leads to improved asthma control!

Many possibilities: That symptom is very common and could be associated with many things. It could be related an enlarged thyroid gland or other mass, but quite unlikely. It can be related to acid reflux(gerd) and  laryngopharyngeal reflux(lpr). Some people require many months of once or twice daily reflux meds to help. Another issue can be muscle tension dysphonia, so see an ent/laryngologist.

You have to stop: Standard reflux precautions include staying upright after eating, avoid eating heavy meal, smoking and allcohol.

Flatulence: Some people claim beano helps. Just a thought, and it is over the counter. Also reconsider the antacids like Pepcid (famotidine) and mylanta.

Reflux disease?: Excessive burping can be a sign of gerd (gastro-esophageal reflux disease).
