You May be Right!: "I may be crazy...HEY! But it just may be a lunatic you're looking for..." If you had predominantly GI issues but if that's all improved, I would be willing to accept gastric virus as a probable cause. Drink TONS of fluid. Remember the rule....drink (in ounces) half the number of your weight (in pounds) on a daily basis. If sick...add 20% to that baseline.

Is what dangerous?: There is no way to know whether "it" is dangerous without knowing what "it" is. The fact that you've had "it" from 8 years and are still alive suggests that "it" isn't dangerous in the sense of being fatal, but that is all that can be stated based on your post. The doctor who diagnoses "it" will be able to tell you if "it" is "dangerous."

: Perhaps you have orthostatic hypotension, or a neurological disorder causing ataxia.  To get this understood, a medical neurologist might well be the next step, but a cardiologist might be added.  A thorough examination likely will point the way to diagnosis.
