what is the best way to clean a stomch from stool?

Not sure of ?: There is not stool in the stomach.  There is recently ingested and either undigested or partially digested foods in the stomach.  It is not stool until it reaches the lower parts of the small intestine and then the large bowel.  It would depend on why you are wanting to do this too?  Unless you are being prepped for a study or for surgery or for some other necessary purpose, you shouldn't need it.

Dietary fiber: Lots of fresh fruits and vegetables provide fiber which helps with regularity. Several servings a day for several days or as adjusted will show benefit or not. Fiber products such as metamucil can help. If those things have failed, several drugstore offerings such as brand names "colace" or "surfak" might help.

Normal: See your health provider if the stool turns black otherwise it is a normal color.

Adequate feeds: It is important to avoid dehydration which can present as dry diapers, dry lips as well. Bottle feeding is associated with a different less frequent pattern than breastfeeding. Burp the baby mid and after the feeding and if he still seems hungry offer more formula. Four oz of sterile water in 24 hours may also be provided. Follow up right away for blood, mucus, pain. He will be due for vaccines.

Docusate: Docusate sodium. However the optimal dose varies from person to person. The over the counter dose is 50 mg and you may need to take it twice a day or maybe 2 tablets twice daily.
Psyllium is a natural fiber that come in powder and acts as a softener if you take it with 8 ozs of water everyday. Make sure you take it 2 hours away from your medications.

No other disease?: One with constipation needs to be sure there is no other disease causing it. If due to slow movement of food and poop through the gut, then things to try are leafy vegetables, water, prune juice, prunes and similar fruits, fiber with water, Miralax (polyethylene glycol), Senokot or other senna, milk of magnesia, or other laxatives. Impaction needs laxatives, an enema, maybe with a helping hand.

Fiber and water: Increasing fiber intake combined with adequate free water is the basis of constipation prevention, furthered by avoiding binding foods including dairy, bananas, starches, etc.  Small amounts of fruit juices daily may also help.  Lactulose is available by Rx for children.

Lubricant: COLACE (docusate sodium) is a lubricant that does that and is not likely to be habit forming (the stool and bowel motility do not get much worse than before after you stop it).

Accepted Answer

Water, foods, meds: Drinking water, eating high fiber foods, or things like prunes, raisins, jelly beans, etc., then adding other meds like an over the counter stool softener may help.  I have found that the brand name stool softeners rather than their generic or store brand equivalents work better. If you have a fissure for &gt; 30 days, you may benefit from operation because meds don't work as well.

"Cure" for diarrhea: First define the problem (what's the frequency of stool?),  circumstances under which diarrhea developed (malabsorption,  pancreatic maldigestion, food intolerances, stressful times, exposure to ill individuals, food poisoning, ischemic gut, inflammatory colitis, etc.), severity (stool volume, dehydration, blood, night-time awakening, weight loss), recurrent? The "cure" depends on diagnosis.
