Moisturieze: Do not scrub as it willo irritate and make it worse. Keep it well moisturized. Am lactin 12% is a good moisturizer because it contiains 12% Lactic Acid and penetrates and moisturizes from the inside  and does not just sit on the surface. The skin has a fatty layer and needs something acidic to penetrate in order to provide the deeper layers with moisture.

Depends on age: If you have an older child that is not having problems breathing (just has a barky cough), then steaming the bathroom is probably adequate.  However, if you have a younger child, especially less than a year of age, you may want to take them to their pediatrician or to the emergency department for a steroid shot.  Caution: sometimes asthma can look like croup, so seek medical advice if unsure.

No BEST!: If you have lupus, see a reputable rheumatologist.  That doctor will guide you in the treatment of this terrible and chronic disease.  You may need to see several physicians with lupus. It affects multiple parts of the body.  Treatment may be varied and may change from time to time.  If there are concerns, get a second or third opinion perhaps from a tertiary referral center.  Best 2 u in 2-0-1-2!
