The one you like: There are hundreds of brands of prenatal vitamins. My suggestion to patients is to try a few and find one you like. The best vitamin is the one you will actually take. All contain Folic Acid which is important. Some contain stool softeners which is helpful for pregnancy constipation. Some contain DHA so you do not have to take a separate pill.

Prenatal Care: Some females may be unaware of the need for prenatal care. Some may live in rural areas and have difficulty accessing care. Some females don't obtain care in a timely manner as they are not aware they are pregnant.  Transportation can be an issue. Some areas offer free prenatal services for women who are impoverished.

Accepted Answer

Yes: Yes they certainly can.  The iron in those pills can also cause general indigestion, nausea, and constipation.  Check with your physician if this is persistent.  Might try taking them with a starch like mashed potatoes to see if that relieves some of the symptoms.

Yes: Yes this product has adequate ingredients for pregnancy.  It's always best to try to get your nutrients from food, if possible, as the body much better absorbs vitamins and minerals from food as opposed to a supplement. Food for thought!

Depends up severity: Some antidepressants can be used starting in the second trimester.  Consult with your ob/gyn about the severity of your symptoms first as some mood disturbances may be a part of your pregnancy experience and do not require medication.
