Backup strategies: Poor wound healing is not a symptom of neuropathy, so i presume you have another condition that affects your circulation, such as diabetes or peripheral arterial disease.  Your best strategy is prevention.  Do not walk barefoot, and check your feet daily for sores that you may not feel.  If you catch them early, you can treat them and heal them before they get out of control.

Yes & other things: Joint hypermobility syndrome, Marfan syndrome and ehlers-danlos syndrome can all present more or less in this fashon.  Check with your doctor as each has other characteristis.  Genetic testing can differentiate these.  This is an important differentiation.

how effective is mouth rinse for a poor-healing tooth extraction site?

Very helpful: If the extraction site is not healing well, the socket is probably still open and food can be trapped there and cause inflammation.  Rinsing frequently, especially after each meal with clean water or non-acohol based mouth rinse will keep food out of the extraction sites and prevent secondary infection.
