Several things: In the context of healthcare and kinds of providers, this is a " Primary Care Provider" either a pediatrician, family practitioner, internist or obstetrician.  We are considered " first line" doctors for care. ( as opposed to specialists doctors)

Phencyclidine (PCP): Pcp is a "dissociative" drug, distorting perceptions of sight and sound and producing feelings of detachment. Users can experience several unpleasant psychological effects, with symptoms mimicking schizophrenia (delusions, hallucinations, disordered thinking, extreme anxiety). Pcp affects multiple neurotransmitter systems in the brain. It is illegal.

when i eat whether is breakfast, lunch or dinner i get dizzy afterwards. started last saturday. i had my bp checked last sunday and it was normal. im going to make an appointment with my pcp. what is causing this?

: You said you had checked your blood pressure and it was normal. Did you check randomly or you checked when you have symptom? Do you really feel dizzy (almost like vertigo) or it is truly lightheadedness? You should check blood pressure in sitting and standing position when you have symptom after the meal. Post prandial hypotension (low BP after a meal) is one possible cause.

Good starting point: A person's PCP (primary care provider) should be a physician, or a physician's assistant or nurse practitioner working on location with a physician. One can call her PCP for non-emergency concerns like stomach aches, heartburn, missed menstrual periods, etc... One may go directly to the ER if having an emergency issue like an obviously broken arm, crushing chest pain, pooping lots of blood, etc...

can ketanserin be prescribed by a pcp?

Theoretically, yes…: But should b pcp familiar with this potent antihypertensive med. Not a first-line drug. Has potential of interacting w/ other BP meds (diuretics, for example) to cause fatal drop in bp. Thus best rx by doc who has worked with it many times.

Can insist: If your health insurance coverage mandates that you need a referral to a specialist by your PCP, insist on getting one. However Hashimoto's throiditis is quite common and easy to diagnose and treat by an internist or any primary care physician who has experience in treating such cases.
