When the serum viscosity is above certain level -above 4- you could have symptoms like headaches, chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke-like symptoms etc. The higher the level the higher your risk is. NONE : Antihistamines will increase mucous viscosity. Increasing fluid intake and use of guafenisen will decrease mucous viscosity.

Men can take clomid (clomiphene) : Men too can take Clomid (clomiphene) to Increase their sperm counts. Doses and timing is different than women. It may take them longer , few months to see results. Talk to a Endocrinologist or reproductive endocrinology. Now adverse effects of all drugs before starting any therapy.

Count?: The actual sperm count is needed to say for sure as is the % of normal forms. The numbers you have don't sound bad.

Semen analysis: First, both of you should be evaluated for infertility if you have been trying for over 1y to conceive a child.

Second, he needs to be examined for varicocele and also have another semen analysis.  There are multiple treatment avenues, but first he needs to see a urologist.

: Firstly-repeat the semen exam. One test is not always accurate. Fertility is only affected somewhat at this result- if correct
