Gas is gas: Very unlikely to be quickening at 12 weeks. Most likely, "bubbling gas feelings" are just that - gas.  Gas pains can be mildly uncomfortable as you experienced, but they can also be quite painful.  Fortunately they usually don't last long.

Birth Control???: If you are referring to the notion that by breastfeeding, you are engaging in a form of birth control, this is wrong. It does work for some, but far, far from 100%.

Early Pregnancy: I am not quite sure what blood tests were done on you but i would presume that you have a very early pregnancy for them not to see the baby on ultrasound. If this is so, one is not able to feel the baby's kick until around 18-20 weeks gestation for a first pregnancy. A blood test, beta hcg, correlated with a transvaginal ultrasound will give you more information regarding the age of the pregnancy.

Might feel like a: flutter. First detection of fetal movement ranges from 13 to 25 weeks. It may not be felt until 18 to 20 weeks in some first time mothers but might be felt as early as 13 to 16 weeks in some.

: As the baby gets larger there is less room to move around &amp; the frequency of perceived kicks may decline. As long as they are present I don't consider this worrisome. If they stop or are suddenly more intense I would. Please review your thoughts with the doc managing your case who knows all the factors of your pregnancy.

A little early: Typically women start to feel the baby move between 18-22 weeks. The husbands can usually feel it a little later although this will depend on the mothers size. In very skinny women men may feel it earlier than if she is a little larger. If you are uncertain of your exact gestational age your Obgyn needs to know that so a sonogram can be done to verify.

Pregnancy test: First off, start with a home pregnancy test. If you are pregnant, see your OB Dr for follow up. If not, then you probably want to see a Gyn Dr to determine if there is something else going on.
