Self Harm: She should be involved in counseling. Talk to her school and she if there are any worrisome issues there. She may be under significant stress. In the meantime distraction or ignoring the behavior might help. Medication may not be the best answer. All the best.

Stop anticoagulants: Bruising is caused by bleeding and implies coagulation problems. Aspirin, nsaids, coumadin, (warfarin) plavix, xarelto, some herbals, and many others lead to bleeding. Check for these causes. Otherwise need a hematologist to check blood for lack of clotting factors as easy bruising/bleeding is not a good or natural sign, especially in a young person. Limit trauma.

On the other hand you may have relatively fragile blood capillaries and thus bruise easily after minimal trauma. Your dr., or a hematologist if necessary, can help you.
